Connectors

A connector is a connecting element between the different elements of a fall arrest system or a component thereof. It may be a carabiner, pliers or hook but in no case may it have sharp or irregular edges that could cut, wear out or damage the ropes or straps.

To avoid the risk of unintentional opening, hooks and carabiners must be automatic or manual locking and self-closing, i.e. open only after at least two consecutive and intentional manual movements.
