Temporary lifelines are used to create linear safety systems up to 20 m when there is the risk of falling from a height but there is no permanent lifeline.
The device works like a permanent lifeline, though it needs supports that can endure the load indicated by the producer (15-20 kN) and a larger clearance height. It is therefore only effective if the falling space is obstacle-free and large enough to enable the user to remain suspended.
