CUSTOMER NEEDS:

• Securing workers while cleaning and maintaining the PV system installed on a roof located 118 mt above ground level. Need for different lifelines according to two types of roofs: a flat one and a roof with a 45° slope.
• The Fire Brigade asked for special Type A1 single anchor points that could support multiple strain (o high stress levels) with no need for being checked after every usage, in order to be used during rescue missions.

OUR SOLUTION: Rail system bond to the PV structure

• Installation of Economy Line and special Type A1 single anchor points on the flat roof, in order to prevent falls.
• Installation of both a Type D rail system and a rail system in compliance with EN 353.1 to ensure safety on the 45° slope.
• Sicurpal took advantage of the PV structure to support the rail system, in order for it to be suitable for rope access and suspension works.
