Safety nets are essential for protection during construction or assembly work. They are made of 5 mm or larger wire and have a mesh size of 100 mm or smaller, with a perimeter rope. These nets must be certified according to the EN 1263-1 standard and have a 4-year guarantee .
There are several main types of safety net systems:

• SYSTEM S : This type of net is used horizontally with a perimeter rope that can be attached to the structure using eyelets or stitching.
• U SYSTEM : This net is attached to a support frame and is used vertically to prevent people or materials from falling from an open edge.

In the event of a fall, the mesh's great deformability allows it to absorb the kinetic energy generated by the fall, cushioning the impact and significantly reducing the damage caused.
