SAIE Bologna - The Building Fair. Design, construction, plant engineering (Bologna Fiere, 9th - 12th October 2024) - is the historic national reference exhibition for the construction system, with a focus on digitalisation, construction and latest-generation systems. There will be 4 themed exhibitions, special squares of excellence and special initiatives dedicated to the most topical topics for the sector.

This year, the Sicurpal Srl exhibition area will be expanded and divided into 2 large adjacent areas: the large company stand, characterised by a central structure around which the exhibition area will be arranged, featuring our lifelines, rails, ladders, parapets and walkways.
New products: Sicurpal will introduce several innovations in the field of safety at work at height, expanding and enriching its range of solutions. Among the novelties will be the new fall protection guardrail and vertical lifeline, designed by our in-house Research and Development (R&D) department. These new products are designed to offer even greater protection and to further improve safety at work at height, responding to the needs of the field.

‘SICURPAL DEMONSTRATION AREA - SAFETY AND WORKING AT HEIGHTS’
Next to the stand, the new ‘SICURPAL DEMONSTRATIVE AREA - SAFETY AND WORK AT HEIGHT,’ an area dedicated to illustrating safe methods for working at height, the correct use of ladders and personal protective equipment (PPE Category III), will be set up. In this demonstration area, an 8-metre high American metal structure, equipped with access ladders, will allow operators to perform demonstrations and practical simulations according to the planned programme.
The activities to be carried out at this area will be indicated among the special initiatives of SAIE Bologna 2024 on printed and online communication material, confirming the historical synergy between Sicurpal and the SAIE exhibition.
Virtual reality
The demonstrative physical part will be complemented by the use of virtual reality visors with programs simulating work at height and in confined spaces. Our staff will be on hand to let visitors carry out simulations and test of work in various risk situations, with the same perception enhanced by the use of virtual reality.
Our staff will be on standby to guide visitors through simulations and practical tests, providing a unique opportunity for interactive learning and raising awareness of the risks of working at height. This experience will not only enhance safety awareness, but also provide valuable skills for working safely in potentially hazardous environments.
