Fall protection nets are a permanent fall protection system for non-walkable skylights and/or domes. They can be applied internally to the supporting structure of the roof, or externally by fastening to double-sheet sandwich panels or corrugated metal sheets.
This system has been designed to ensure the safety of industrial or agricultural building roofs during maintenance phases, with the use of two distinct types:
COPERTEC: electri-welded mesh with triple selvedge at the ends. The horizontal and vertical wires are galvanized steel before welding;
COPERPLAX: electro-welded mesh with triple selvedge at the ends. The galvanized horizontal and vertical wires are also plastic-coated: the steel wire is immersed in a special primer, which facilitates the adhesion of PVC to the metal. The plastic-coated variant can be used to protect translucent sheets from the outside.
These nets are attached to the roof using special plates and accessories. Internal installation can be carried out on different structures.
The system is certified with ITC Technical Agrément n. 650/22 dated 12.05.2022.
